The Return of Gossip Girl Season 2. One of the best teen drama series, Gossip Girl, an HBO Max series, was released on July 8, 2021, and was released till December 2, 2021. It was preceded by Gossip Girl(2007-2012). With an IMDb rating of 7.5, it has gathered a worldwide audience.
The show is developed by Joshua Safran and co-produced by Josh Schwartz and Stephenie Savage, the creators of the Original Gossip Girl series.
The story revolves around Blair Waldorf who was a popular student at her private school and was envied by everyone. But her private life gets unsettled when her ex-best friend enrolls in the same institution.

It will feature the return of Julien(Jordan Alexander), Zoya (Whitney Peak), Obie (Eli brown), Audrey (Emily Alyn Lind), Max (Thomas Doherty), Aki (Evan Mock), Monet (Savannah Lee Smith), Luna( Zion Moreno) and so on.
They also tease the audience with the return of Pippa and Bianca. There’s also an original series character returning to the show, Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg).

The Plot of Season 2
More dramatic teen life. Gossip Girl Season 2 starts exactly where it ended in season 1. Julien reeling from her father’s me too moment,teams up with the Gossip Girl and guarantees disaster for both parties.
Zoya continues to build a life for herself outside the Constance It Girls. Audrey, Max, and Eki continue their polyamorous relationship while Monet and Luna conspire a hostile takeover.
Season 2 will show a slow burn and more shifts in the stories. “War is never pretty, and it’s only just begun” , says Gossip Girl herself, Kristan Bell.

Return of the OG Villain
The trailer teases the audience with the return of the Cult Villain Georgina Sparks. It is seen that Kate Keller ( Tavi Gevinson) enters her living room and to her shock, there is Georgina sitting and saying “Did you know that you have four weeks points to entry and a very pliable super?”.
The background music “You know I’m No good” and the character made sure to the audience that it’s returning with a banger.
