Despicable Me 4 “Meet New Family Member”!

The latest clip for Despicable Me 4 shows Gru on the run from super villains. The new film is jam-packed with supercharged, hilarious action, as we witness the dangers of supermarket shopping, the stress of fueling your supervillain car, and the “mega” transition of our beloved Minions.

The anticipated film is the next part in the extremely successful Illumination franchise, which premiered in 2010. While the prequel Minions: The Rise of Gru debuted in 2022, the most recent film in the main Despicable Me franchise was released seven years ago. In Despicable Me 4, Gru and his family will be on the run from a supervillain.

Illumination recently shared a new teaser for the upcoming Despicable Me 4 film, which will be released this summer.

Despicable Me 4 | Official Trailer 2

More than ever before, this teaser clip offers fans of the franchise a first full look at the plot of the fourth film, with the villainous Maxime Le Mal, dubbed by the infamous Ferrell, breaking out of prison.

The trailer opens with a cubicle-style office full of Minions dressed in professional attire. The scene then switches to the line, “Gru has been compromised!” Gru’s wife Lucy is later seen dashing through the shop with Agnes and Edith, fleeing from a villain.

To contend with their devious enemies, Gru’s team sets up a method to turn the Minions into “Mega-Minions.” These scientifically upgraded Minions will serve as Gru’s “secret weapon” against his foes.

The trailer has plenty of Minions and action, but it also has calm moments that give these flicks heart. It includes revealing Gru’s father’s side, as he looks after Agnes and Edith.

He maintains his signature “bad guy” humor as he urges Agnes to be more like her elder sister, Edith, by lying a lot more often.

Bursting at the seams with comedy that will amuse both children and parents, this latest teaser teases a Despicable Me edition that will both follow in the footsteps of its predecessors yet not be hesitant to innovate.
