Sarah Lampert has created the American comedy-drama series ‘Ginny & Georgia’. The first season of the series premiered on February 24, 2021, on Netflix. Ginny & Georgia Season 2 was renewed on 19th April of that year and is set to release on January 5, 2023.

The series started with an unusually friendly bonding between a thirty years old mother and her fifteen years old daughter as the former settles down in a New England town with her two kids.

Georgia, the mother is a beautiful and confident woman with a careless attitude. And Ginny, the daughter is a mature and reserved girl.

Though the story resembles that of the popular similar-themed series ‘Gilmore Girls’, the similarities end here as Georgia is found out to harbor dangerous secrets about her going to any extent to protect her children.

On the other hand, Ginny also struggles to cope with coming-of-age and racial issues in school as well as re-discovering her own mother.

Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry have starred as Georgia and Ginny Miller in the series.
