Outlander Season 6: Claire Fraser ‘at start of a long journey’ after Lionel Brown attack

Outlander Season 6 Updates: “Outlanders” is a historical drama television series that follows the book with the same title written be Diana Gabaldon. The show has continued for 5 seasons till now and was renewed for 12-episode sixth and seventh seasons.

The show involves all kinds of fantasies – love, friendship, time travelling and wars and soldiers. A married lady, Claire Randall, finds herself suddenly transported to 1743 from 1945. The drama continue as she gets involved in the matters there as well as falls in love with Jamie Fraser, an Outlander.

The fifth season ended in an emotional roller coaster for the protagonist Claire Randall who was left in so much pain. She revealed that much of the fifth season could have revolves around her healing but it would still have to go alongside the uprising of the American Revolution.

Outlander Season 6: Lionel Brown attack

The fifth season got brutal when Claire was kidnapped and violently assaulted by Lionel. It was nerve wracking but did provide some solace to the viewers as he was killed by with hemlock from one of Claire’s homemade syringes.

But now, killing Marsali will have its own consequences in the upcoming season as his brother and their entire village is going to hunt them down.

Claire played by Caitriona Balfe, spoke about the incident in an interview and told how important is was to show what has happened because it is relevant in today’s time as well and the journey by her in the upcoming seasons would be made realistic so that others could relate to it and take inspiration from it rather than feeling alone in this agony.

The sixth season is currently being shot in Scotland and is rumoured to be released before the end of this year.
Whatever happens, we know that there are still two more seasons to go and are excited about it.
