The Rookie Season 4 Updates: The Rookie is an American police procedural crime drama television series. It is created by Alexi Hawley. The series is based on real-life Los Angeles Police Department officer William Norcross who moved to Los Angeles in 2015 and joined the department in his mid-40s. The show premiered on 16th October 2018.
The story is about Jon Nolan who is a forty-five years old newly divorced man from Pennsylvania. He was the owner of a construction company but after inadvertently helping police officers during a bank robbery move to Los Angeles to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department.
After graduating from the Police Academy, Nolan must strive his way through the dangerous, unpredictable nature of his job. However, Nolan is very determined and is ready to work very hard to make it in his new career despite the challenges.
The Rookie Season 4 Release Date
The Rookie has been renewed for the fourth season just a few days after season 3 ended. However, no official release date has been mentioned by ABC. Following the release pattern of the previous seasons, the fourth season can be expected to release as early as September 2022 on ABC.

The Plot
Season 3 ended on a cliff-hanger with the kidnapping of Angela Lopez at her own wedding. This definitely gives a plot for a fourth season. With so many unanswered questions, there has to be another season to explain everything that happened at the finale episode of season 3. When asked by fans if La Fiera could have kidnapped Lopez, Hawley said “This is not the end of Lopez, but an escalation in this dynamic that they’ve had for basically the whole season”.
The entire main cast is expected to return for the fourth season. In season three, Jenna Dewan starred as Nolan’s love interest and Emily Deschanel as his ex-wife Sarah Nolan, who are also expected to return in the fourth season.
Fans are super excited for their favorite show to be coming back. They have expressed their joy and excitement on tweeter. The Rookie is loved by many and will surely keep its stature with season four.
