When the series was first announced, many speculations arose around it most of which revolved around whether the prequel series can maintain the extraordinary legacy that ‘Game of Thrones‘ paved with each of its eight seasons.

But ‘House of the Dragon’ has successfully established itself as a worthy successor of the epic fantasy series.

Set about two hundred years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’, the prequel series is adapted from George R. R. Martin’s ‘Fire & Blood’.

The plot chronicles the events that led to the Targaryen civil war, known as the “Dance of Dragons” and primarily focuses on Rhaenyra Targaryen, the first female heir of the kingdom, and Alicent Hightower, her stepmother.

But after he gets released from a century-long captivation, he has to work hard to fix the chaos that his absence caused through different timelines. Tom Sturridge portrayed the titular Sandman in the series that premiered on August 5, 2022, on Netflix.

The plot revolves around Scott Calvin aka Santa Clause who realizes that someone else needs to take over the job of Santa as now he is sixty-five years old.

But trying to find out a new Santa sets him on a new journey. Tim Allen has reprised his role of Santa Claus in the series that premiered on November 16, 2022, on Disney+.
