Outlander Season 6 Update: Historical drama ‘Outlander’ is based on Diana Gabaldon’s continuing novel series ‘Outlander’. Ronald D. Moore developed this show. The first season of the series opens by introducing Claire Randall to us.
It is the time of the Second World War and Claire is a nurse of the British Army. She along with her husband Frank visits Inverness of Scotland where she gets traveled to the year 1743.
There she gets involved with a group of Highlanders. Captain Jonathon Randall has commanded British redcoats who are at the tail of these Highlanders. Ironically, this captain Randall is actually an ancestor of Clair’s husband Frank Randall. Eventually, the situation compels Claire to marry Jamie Fraser, one of the Highlanders. But the two readily find love between them.

Claire is the smart and willful protagonist of ‘Outlander’. This stubborn and intelligent woman is actually a married nurse of the time of the Second World War who gets traveled back to the year 1743.
There she stumbles upon a life of adventure, romance, and war alongside a group of Highlanders. She falls in love of one of them. But this time travel does not only gift her good times. Claire has to suffer repeatedly including being gang-raped. But she utilizes her knowledge of the future to survive in the past.
Caitríona Balfe portrays the character of Claire. The talented actress is a former model. For her role in the series she won a number of accolades including a British Academy Scotland Award, two People’s Choice Awards, one Irish Film and Television Award, and three Saturn Awards besides nominations of four Golden Globe Awards. The 42 years old actress is born in Dublin of Ireland. She is married to Anthony McGill since 2019 and is the mother of one child.
Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser):
Jamie Fraser is a Highland warrior and member of Clan Fraser of Lovat. When Clair transports back to the year of 1743, she meets these dashing Highlanders among others. Though at first circumstances forced them to get married, the couple soon found love in each other providing the central romance in the show.
The actor playing Jaime Fraser is Sam Heughan. He is a Scottish actor and also an author. For his role as Jaime in ‘Outlander’, he received Saturn Award for Best Actor on Television and People’s Choice Award for Favorite Cable Sci-fi/Fantasy TV Actor as well as one nomination for Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series. The actor is now 41 years old and no reliable data is not found about his dating life for now.
Mark Lewis Jones (Tom Christie):
The Christies bring a change of dimension and force of shifting viewpoint in the series. According to what has been known till now, Tom Christie shares a history at Ardsmuir Prison with Jaime. As now with his children Tom is settling in Ridge, things are going to go intense. Also, Tom is a hard-core Protestant which clashes with the worldview of Jaime.
Welsh actor Mark Lewis Jones appeared in popular TV Shows like ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, ’55 Degrees North’, ‘Stella’, ‘The Witcher’, ‘The Crown’, and the miniseries ‘Chernobyl’ as well as in the films ‘Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World’ and ‘Troy’. The 58 years old actor is married to Gewnno Penrhyn, a Welsh fashion entrepreneur.
Alexander Vlahos (Allan Christie):
Allan Christie is the son of Tom Christie and is considered a “carbon copy” of his father till his playful mischievous side is revealed. Allan creates a significant portion of the chaos that the Christies are bound to bring in the new storyline. But he is far from being a straight-out villain being more complicated than that.
Alexander Vlahos plays Allan Christie who is remembered as Philippe in the popular series ‘Versailles’. The 33 years old Welsh actor also played in ‘Merlin’ of BBC One the role of Mordred which was first decided to star by Asa Butterfield.
Jessica Reynolds (Malva Christie):
Malva Christie is the daughter of Tom and is known as a determined young girl. But before coming to Ridge, she has always been sheltered. Malva nurtures modern-day tendencies which may contribute to a potential bonding between her and Claire. In the trial, she is also seen with Young Ian. Jessica Reynolds is a 24 years old young actress for whom the role in ‘Outlander’ is going to be a breakout role.
