Dexter Season 9: Release Date

Dexter Season 9: Plot
Showrunner Clyde Phillips has already confirmed that Season 9 will not undo the events of previous seasons, with a new ending to Dexter’s story.
The new season is set to start 10 years after the end of Season 8 and continue Dexter’s story after he disappeared during Hurricane Laura and started a new life as a lumberjack in Oregon.

The Cast
What is certain so far is that Michael C. Hall will return as Dexter Morgan. It is not yet clear whether Yvonne Strahovski will be there again as Hannah McKay. Her role in ” The Handmaid’s Tale ” could mean that Strahovski does not have time to film “Dexter”. It is also not yet known who will play Dexter’s son Harrison if he appears on the series.
Clancy Brown (“Highlander”, “The Condemned”) will take on the role of Dexter’s opponent Kurt Cladwell, the unofficial mayor of a small town called Iron Lake. Caldwell is described as a powerful, generous, and true man of the people – as long as he’s on your side.
