Lockwood & Co is a Netflix original British detective thriller series written and directed by Joe Cornish, based on Jonathan Stroud’s novel series of the same name. Lockwood & Co on Netflix is set in an alternate London, where ghosts walk freely through the streets.
In this eight-part drama series, young protagonists Lucy Carlyle, Anthony Lockwood, and George Cubbins run a psychic detection agency known as Lockwood & Co. and spend their nights battling ghosts.
Back in May 2020, it was revealed that Netflix and the Complete Fiction production business would be collaborating to create a show that would be based on the Lockwood & Co. book series.

The British crime drama series will become available to stream on Netflix on Friday, January 27, 2023. The number of episodes in Lockwood & Co’s debut season has been reported to be eight. The average length of each episode is 60 minutes. The entire eight-episode season is scheduled to release on January 27.
On July 5, 2021, filming commenced in London. In late October 2021, filming took place at the Kensal Green Cemetery. The final episode of the series aired on March 15th, 2022, in the city of London.
The series was filmed in blocks, based on some of the behind-the-scenes social media updates. By the beginning of December 2021, the second phase had come to an end.

There are five Lockwood & Co books in all. The Screaming Staircase, the first book in the series, will be the series’ first adaptation. It’s not yet known if several books will be covered in a single season.
We assume that if the audience had its way, each season would encompass everything that happened in each book, making a total of five seasons.

Who Is Ruby Stokes?
Ruby May Stokes is an English actress who was born on September 4, 2000. Una (2016), Rocks (2019), and A Banquet (2021) are some of the movies in which she has appeared.
In addition to playing Francesca, the sixth Bridgerton child, in the first two seasons of the streaming service’s period drama Bridgerton, she is due to star in the Netflix detective series Lockwood & Co (2023).
Stokes began her acting career when she was a youngster, appearing on television in a few minor roles before making her debut in the feature film version of the drama “Una” in the role of a younger version of Rooney Mara’s character. In 2019, she appeared in the movie Rocks by Sarah Gavron.
