“Emily In Paris” Lucien Laviscount Back To Show

Lucien Laviscount is back to make trouble for Emily. Guess “Emily In Paris” love life doesn’t seem to get a break. Things will yet continue to be complicated for Emily in Darren Star’s Netflix dramedy show.

Lucien Laviscount Back To Complicate

Lucien Laviscount, previously played Emily’s (Lily Collins) Season 2 love interest, Alfie. He is all set to come back next season.

Good News for all the fans, this time he has been promoted to a series regular. During the Paley Fest, the announcement was made by the Emily In Paris panel.

According to the plot, Alfie (Lucien) is born and raised in London. He is a sarcastic and charming cynic. Alfie and Emily encountered each other in French class. Although, their friendship evolved into a romantic relationship over time.

Season 2 ended with Emily at a crossroads in her personal life: Alfie telling her that he’s going back to London.  Although, he wanted to give a long-distance relationship a try. In contrast, Emily wasn’t able to reveal her real feelings for Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). After she finds out that Camille had moved in back with him. Guess it’s not easy for the star lovers to meet yet after having to face another obstacle.

Season 2 Review

In the Netflix series, Emily is an ambitious marketing executive from Chicago. Favored by luck she unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company obtains a French luxury marketing company. As a result, she is tasked with altering their social media strategy.

Season 2, will fill get her with more opportunities and troubles. Emily, is now more rooted in her life in Paris, getting better at steering the city but still struggling with the idiosyncrasies of French life.

Finds her love life all messed up. She lands herself in a love triangle with her neighbor (Bravo) and her first real French friend (Camille Razat). Yet, not losing her focus Emily is determined to focus on her work.

Although the works keep getting ranged and more complicated by the day. Things get more complicated, as she meets a fellow ex-pat (Laviscount) in her French Class. Emily is both infuriated and intrigued by him.

Renewed For Season 3 and 4

Netflix has handed a bumper, to the fans. It has officially decided to give a two-season renewal to Emily In Paris. The most popular streaming site has picked up the Lily Collins-fronted comedy for seasons three and four

In 2020, the series was also the streamer’s most popular comedy series. Securing its position with its first season watched by 58M households in its first month.

Emily in Paris was originally set up at Paramount Network. Later the series moved to Netflix. Created, written by, and exec produced by Star with Jax Media’s Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns exec producing alongside Andrew Fleming.

The comedy series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, Darren Star Productions, and Jax Media with Collins, Raphaël Benoliel, Stephen Brown, Shihan Fey and Jake Fuller as producers.
