Emily in Paris Season 4 will launch on December 21, 2022, just in time for the holidays. Season 1 of Emily in Paris began in October 2020, with Season 2 following in December 2021. The third installment’s production began in June, so the December release date is a welcome surprise.
Season 2 became Netflix’s most popular original comedy series after viewers watched it for a total of 280 million hours in the first four weeks of its release. Netflix renewed the show for Seasons 3 and 4, which means we’ll be tracking the misadventures of selfie-taking Emily Cooper for quite some time.

At the finale of Season 2, there was a huge cliffhanger for fans. Emily’s career may follow a different path based on what she decides to pursue. If she continues with Savoir and the Gilbert Group, Madeline, her supervisor from Chicago, will most certainly promote her. After Sylvie, Luc, and Julien depart from Savoir, Sylvie invites Emily to join a new team in Paris.
Lily Collins told ELLE in December 2021 that she is “dying to hear what that decision is, ’cause I don’t know” regarding Emily’s cliffhanger phone call.
Emily’s love life is similarly full of tension. Her love triangle with Gabriel and Camille turned for the worst at the start of season 2, but she found romance with a student from her French class, Alfie. As the season develops, she finds herself amid yet another love triangle, including her, Gabriel, and Alfie.
When Emily goes back to the UK for business with her British boyfriend, she discovers that she still has feelings for Gabriel. Unfortunately for Emily, Gabriel has reunited with Camille, leaving her alone. This isn’t easy.

The prominent cast members will return, including Lily Collins as Emily, Ashley Park as her best friend Mindy (who we’d want to see receive more character development), and Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, the passionate restaurateur. Since Lucien Laviscount has been upgraded to series regular, we can also expect to see more of Alfie.
