On Friday, September 17, Netflix released the trailer for YOU’s third season, and it is evident from the trailer that we are on the craziest and wildest ride so far.

We will see Joe continue to repeat his past behaviours when he encounters his brand new obsession, Joe and Love’s neighbour, Natalie (played by Michael McManus), who we already met concisely at the end of the last season and that is obvious because if Joe would be capable of leaving his old habits behind there would not be a You Season 3.

From the trailer, we cannot comment much on Natalie’s character except for the fact that she is successful both professionally and socially. She also has a successful husband who is a CEO (the character played by Scott Speedman). Joe looks very keen to know more and more about her. Get ready to witness Joe and Love to the neighbourhood on 15th October 2021.

The second season of the creepy yet psychological thriller hits the screen on 26 December 2019, and while shooting for the season the pandemic comes into the picture and the shooting got suspended for two weeks and resumed in February 2021.

Cast members in the upcoming season A lot of new members are going to appear in the new season. YOU Season 3 is Coming to Netflix, not you but the series YOU. I see how confusing it is going to get for a friend circle to discuss the upcoming series YOU which is going to release on 15th October 2021. YOU is a psycho-thriller series in which the main character Joe Goldberg played by Penn Badgely is a sociopath and stalks his crush who later turns out to be his girlfriend but eventually killing her and then in season 2 he finds his match who also is a sociopath but we don’t have enough details on her but we do know that she could be the mother of the child who Joe was referring to in the trailer of YOU Season 3.

Joe was talking to the viewers as if the viewers were his child, trying to name the child in the best way possible and saying that he would be a better person who his child would want to call dad, and at the end of the trailer, the baby is named as Henry. Though the trailer was very enticing it is still very uncomfortable with all the vivid red dressing on the cake and a very terrifying knife also the fact that little Henry’s dad is a murderer and a sociopath and so is his mother.

There is still a question if that if the child is in good care or not everything aside there is a chance that this child might make things right. At the end of season 2, YOU left us with a lot of dead bodies and also the fact that Love played Joe and reveal to him that she was the one manipulating him to fall for her and not the other way around as Joe said once that it is broken attracts broken so does psychopath attracts psychopath all the murder resulted in Joe and Love shifting to a new place.

Since they were shifting they obviously made new friends and there are going to be new cast members in the upcoming season there is also a possibility that Joe and Love will meet the consequences of the actions that took place in the previous seasons stating that the demise is near and they have a baby on the way.

Release Date

There are many questions that arise talking about the baby Henry one being that if he is in good care or not or like in the book version of the series it is said that Joe Goldberg moves on from Love
and falls in love with a librarian he works with but there is no hard proof if the Netflix series YOU Season 3 is going to stick with the book version. And if he does move on what happens to the baby? Well, I guess we’ll have to stay tuned for all our questions to be answered by 15th October 2021.

YOU Season 3 has been announced, The most loved character “Dan Humphrey” ( Penn Badgely) in gossip girl turned out to be the gossip girl all along; stalking the hell out of teenagers and their life. Inspired from his past endeavors this time Penn Badgely starred in the psycho/thriller show “YOU” and gave us everything we needed from an outright obsessed lover to a psychopath/manic killer who manipulates.

YOU Season 3 Recap

So, let’s start from the beginning of YOU season 1 started with joe delusional obsession with beck while trying to cover him from his last relationship and ended with Beck being killed by joe and his last love life “candace” who was supposed to be dead showing up and pulling the UNO reverse card.

YOU Season 2 started with Joe changing his whole existence and turning into Will to start fresh he stumbles upon love quite literally; Love being the quirky little girl next door but it’s revealed in the end that she might just not be who we are thinking. Love in my words is the perfect soulmate for Joe. The twisting season 2 ends with Candace killed by Love herself. One of the main things of the ending of season 2 is the bombshell that Love is pregnant with a baby who might or might not be joe’s.

So much happened in these 2 seasons that we still are trying to wrap our head around it genuinely. Season 2 ended by giving us a glimpse of Joe and Love’s near future which may be a little shady as it is seen that Joe is not happy with how his life turned out to be and he might just try to be the old Joe Goldberg we all know.

Netflix announced season 3 just as soon as season 2 ended but because of the world pandemic we were in they were hesitant to announce the dates after a year or so when the dust is settling down, we get the news and the trailer of YOU season 3 which released on August 30 which left us with the name of love and joe’s child Henry.

And most prominently the release date is to be 15th October 2021. Let’s not lie that we were oh so subtly wanted the season 3. There are so many stones to turned and so many lives to be disrupted starting with joe himself and his past to Love and her oh-so-perfect Family.

Let’s hope everything in YOU Season 3 is out of our imagination.
