Deadpool & Wolverine official teaser was released on 12th February 2024! After almost six years, Deadpool has returned to the MCU, following the end of Fox’s X-Men films and Disney’s studio takeover. Ryan Reynolds returns as Merc With a Mouth, bringing back Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, who last appeared in 2017’s film Logan.
With the MCU developing artistically and rumors surrounding the return of the classic Avengers, Deadpool’s arrival in this universe brings up plenty of new possibilities.
This change allows storytellers to be more creative, possibly combining narrative elements from Loki, in which the main character is now totally in control of managing every branch across the multiverse, to enrich and develop the plot.

The Deadpool & Wolverine teaser opens with Wade Wilson’s birthday and features Vanessa and the rest of X-Force, whom Deadpool saved through time travel at the end of Deadpool 2.
To that end, the consequences appear to have caught up with Wilson with the appearance of the TVA, who immediately arrest the Merc with the Mouth and seek to turn him into a hero within the greater MCU. However, the Deadpool & Wolverine teaser concludes with a major hint for 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars.
A ripped comic book cover can be seen lying on the ground close to Deadpool’s body, just in front of Wolverine’s shadow as Hugh Jackman‘s Logan scoops up Wade.
Surprisingly, it’s an issue from 2015’s Secret Wars crossover, a Marvel Comics event that will likely serve as the basis for 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars. To that end, seeing Secret Wars references so early is shocking and fascinating.
As this Deadpool & Wolverine trailer is a teaser, there will most likely be a complete official trailer before the film’s premiere this summer. However, with the film now available, it’s an incredible first look at Deadpool and Wolverine, setting up what might easily be a game-changer for the MCU.

The Cast and Crew of Deadpool & Wolverine.

Deadpool & Wolverine sees the comeback of Deadpool characters Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Blind Al (Leslie Uggams), Colossus (Stefan Kapicic), Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), Dopinder (Karan Soni), as well as Peter (Rob Delaney), though Domino actress Zazie Beetz and Cable actor Josh Brolin appear to be absent.
Most intriguingly, Jennifer Garner‘s Elektra reappears from Ben Affleck‘s Daredevil film, opening up new strands of the MCU universe and implying that other previous Marvel movie figures may also resurface.
Matthew Macfadyen joins Deadpool and Wolverine as TVA agent Paradox, while Emma Corrin plays the villain.
