The latest trailer for Rose Glass’s sophomore movie, Love Lies Bleeding, has appeared and is steamier than the first. Kristen Stewart and Katy O’Brian feature in Love Lies Bleeding, a thriller/romance film set in the rigorous bodybuilding world.
This star-crossed couple finds themselves in severe challenges in the deep South, and the film has every hallmark of a queer classic. And based on everything we’ve heard, this is the movie we will die for.

Love Lies Bleeding Official Trailer 2 Is Out to Watch Now!
The trailer’s opening scenes are all about muscles as we watch Jackie, O’Brian’s new girl in town, compete in a bodybuilding competition.
The trailer moves forward to Jackie’s meet-cute with Lou (Stewart), which isn’t your typical rom-com setting as the two admire each other in a steamy, run-down gym – this is the representation we’ve been waiting for.
As the well-known synth-pop song plays in the background, we meet Lou’s father, Lou Sr. (Ed Harris), who hires Jackie but seems to be doing so to keep his daughter under control.
More steamy moments go by, along with more guns and menacing words, as Lou and Jackie are forced to cover up a murder while trying to leave alive. One of the most striking scenes in the latest trailer is a few recurring shots of longhaired Ed Harris shining in intense red, making him look threatening.
In Love Lies Bleeding, Jackie (O’Brian) is the newcomer, having moved to a small town. Jackie, a professional bodybuilder, crosses paths with Lou (Stewart) while working out at the gym, and the two have a hot and fast-paced romance.
Jackie works for Lou Sr. (Harris), and the couple gets tense. When a murder is involved, the story shoots off like rocket fuel, although fueled by sweating, sexual tension, and passionate eye contact.

Kristen Stewart, who got an Oscar nomination for her role in Spencer, leads the cast of Love Lies Bleeding. Stewart was previously best known for her role as Bella in the hugely successful Twilight franchise, but she has since progressed to become an immensely skilled actor with a wide range.
Katy O’Brian, who stars in The Mandalorian & Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, will co-lead with Stewart.
Ed Harris, star of Westworld and Top Gun: Maverick, plays the film’s presumed antagonist, a villain due to his criminal empire rather than his awful hair. Anna Baryshnikov of Manchester by the Sea and Jena Malone of Nocturnal Animals will have essential parts in Love Lies Bleeding.
Love Lies Bleeding arrives at cinemas on March 8.
