The shiny back of the stem adds a bit of design to a price where the function is usually valued over appearance, but the JBL is a decent combination of the two. On the other hand, the look may attract specific fingerprints and smudges.

The buds, available in four hues (blue, rose, black, and silver), are quite pleasant to wear for long periods.

If the headphones do not fit the first time, three other sizes of ear tips are available.

The water resistance is IPX5, making it more water and sweat resistant than other noise-canceling earbuds. However, it is important to remember that the grade does not indicate waterproofing (which is IPX7).

On the Live Pro 2, touch controls are used and perform well. The right earbud is for playback, with a touch for play/pause, a double tap to go ahead, a triple tap to skip back, and a hold to activate voice assistance.

You may customize the sound in the Personi-fi 2.0 program by instructing the buds to use whatever sonic profile sounds best. It starts with an environment noise check (you must be in a relatively quiet area), then moves on to a wearing status check. Then it makes nine chirpy sounds in each ear, and you remove your finger when the sound is hardly audible.

During the Ear Canal Test, another music clip is played. The hybrid True Adaptive ANC will then take care of the rest, allowing you to sit back and relax. . Although the Tour Pro 2 minimizes low-level sounds, you can still detect unnecessary background noise.

Verdict

In several ways, JBL’s Live Pro 2 exceeded my expectations. The noise cancellation is excellent. The audio is a flawless performance with a slight emphasis on bass, the design is comfy, and the app has all of the functions I’d expect from a more expensive, accurate wireless device. As a result, the JBL offers excellent value for money.
