The OnePlus Buds Pro is the company’s premium audio offering with ANC. For quite some time, we’ve heard rumors about a possible sequel, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 seems identical to its predecessor from the outside. The TWS earbuds are also available in Olive Green.
Design of OnePlus Buds Pro 2
For a better fit, the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro will include angled ear tips. The earbuds are two-toned, with a matt-finished upper half and a glossy bottom.
The charging case has an LED indication and a physical button that will most likely enable pairing mode. The words ‘co-created by Dynaudio’ is also inscribed on the charging case. What’s new is an olive green color option.
The original OnePlus Buds Pro came in matte black or glossed white. The design similarities stretch to the charging case, which appears to be similar.

OnePlus Buds Pro 2: Price and Availability
We have yet to get any price information, but we’re expecting something close to $149 for the original OnePlus Buds Pro. Unfortunately, there have yet to be OnePlus Buds Pro 2 launch date estimates.
Still, since the first pair was introduced in July 2021, the successors are already overdue – and early 2023 appears like a fair bet for an official introduction.

Specification and Features
The first OnePlus Buds Pro included effective noise cancellation, and the new set will likely do the same. The earbuds are supposed to contain 11 mm and 6mm dual drivers and adaptive noise cancellation of up to 45 dB.
The earbuds are expected to include three microphones on both sides. The OnePlus Buds 2 Pro will feature the LHDC 4.0 codec and provide spatial audio.
In addition, there will be an adaptive ANC, which will decide the level automatically. Other features include Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The buds will be dust and water-resistant to IP55 standards.

Battery Life
The battery life of the Buds Pro 2 will be up to 6 hours with ANC enabled and up to 9 hours if ANC is disabled.
They are said to last up to 38 hours without ANC and 22 hours with ANC switched on. Quick charging support is said to provide up to three hours of listening after only 10 minutes of charging. Wireless charging will also be supported.
Conclusion
The original OnePlus Buds Pro proved to be one of the better all-around actual wireless earbuds sets of 2021, with good audio, a perfect fit, ANC, and wireless charging at a fair price. That’s why we’re thrilled about the arrival of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2’s potential successor.
