The story revolves around two women, Judy and Jen, who are played by two of the most outstanding actors Christina Applegate & Linda Cardellini. With IMDb’s rating of 8/10, the audience loved the show.

The story starts with Jen’s husband dying due to a hit and run, the sadistic widow tries to solve the crime committed and Optimistic Judy also faced some losses of her own the two women meet at a support group and In Spite of their opposite personalities, they become friends. The dark comedy revolves around loss, grief, friendship, and secrets.

Dead to Me Season 3 Recap
Dead to Me successfully ran 3 seasons. On November 17, 2022, due to delayed shooting because of the Covid situation, Dead to me released its 3rd and final season.
It was a bittersweet experience for the audience to see the rollercoaster of changes between Jen and Judy. It cannot be denied that Jen’s future was only because of Judy’s Optimism.
The 3rd third season ended with Jen trying to tell Ben, probably the fact that he’s in love with the woman that killed his brother. Even after three successful seasons, why wouldn’t they return with a fourth season?

Will there be Dead To Me Season 4?
It is true. Dead to Me will not be returning with a fourth season.
Liz Feldman, the program creator, quotes “I always knew that it was going to be a short-lived show. I wanted three or four seasons, but I’m realistic in terms of where the show lives,” she told Hollywood Reporter.
“It lives on a platform that doesn’t traditionally give more than three or four, or sometimes even one or two, seasons. I wanted the ending to feel important and not just, like, ‘Oh shit, we’re going to get canceled!’ (Laughs.) It’s like I almost wanted to beat them to the punch – decide our own destiny.”
Jen’s Meddling teen Charlie played by Sam McCarthy also shared “I think for the sake of the show, creatively and commercially and everything, I think three seasons is a good amount.”
Christina Applegate who played the character Jen also shared back in 2020 “We felt this was the best way to tie up the story of these women,”
The creators, producers, and cast think that it is best for the show to have only three seasons and thus won’t return for Dead to Me season 4.
Dead to me is a series of grief and loss and we the audience are for sure grieving.
