Superman Henry Cavill Transforms Into Cyclops

Henry Cavill has been trending on social media in recent days, which may be perplexing to some fans, but for those who have been following the DC Extended Universe attentively, it’s maybe Hollywood’s worst-kept secret.

Henry Cavill, 39, made his debut as Clark Kent/Superman in 2013’s Man of Steel and has since appeared in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

While fans have been yearning for a sequel to Superman for many years, it seems that it is finally becoming a reality… with his cameo in the upcoming film, Black Adam already seeping all over the Internet.

With Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam so close to release, speculations about Henry Cavill’s comeback as Superman have been circulating on the internet. Cavill hasn’t played the role since Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and Warner Bros. has started incorporating faceless Superman cameos into their films.

There have been speculations that the actor has switched sides and will be working on an upcoming Marvel Studios film, but these have yet to be confirmed.

Fans have speculated on what role Cavill may play in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with some suggesting he join the X-Men. One fan recently showed a fresh piece of fan art depicting the Superman actor as Scott Summers / Cyclops.

During the San Diego Comic-Con, the studio revealed that the new saga will be officially concluded with two new Avengers films, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige appears to believe that the multiverse is in good hands in Jonathan Majors’ hands. During the same interview, Feige said that the Kang the Conqueror actor is ideal for the job.

“It boils down to the cast, and I believe Jonathan Majors took over the Hall H stage in the three minutes he was up there,” Feige said. “It’s incredible, and I told him there are no one’s shoulders I’d rather put the universe tale on than his. What Jonathan Majors is capable of and all the numerous incarnations, varieties, if you will, of Kang that we will see him perform are quite astounding. It’s quite cool.”

“What I like about him is that he’s not like Thanos. That he is entirely unique. That’s not all, how about a larger purple person with a helmet? Kang is not like that. Kang is a very distinct sort of villain, and the fact that he is many, many different personas is what excites and distinguishes him the most.” The Marvel Studios President went on to say.

Thor: Love and Thunder was the most recent Marvel Studios picture to enter cinemas. Chris Hemsworth will play the titular character of Thor, alongside Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, Russell Crowe as Zeus, Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher.

Waititi will reprise his role as Korg in addition to directing. Thor: Love and Thunder are now available exclusively on Disney+!
