Johnny Depp has responded to the Countersuit Of Amber Heard yesterday. A marriage is a pious thing but if it did not work then it could change into the worst decision ever taken. The same happens with a lot of celebrities that got separated from their partner and still struggling with it.
Sometimes it is related to mental pressure and weakness and other times it is related to the legal thing. And if it is legal then the appearance in court is going to make news. Something like this has happened again with the former couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
He has filed an appeal of $2 million against the favors from the defamation countersuit of Amber Heard. When it seems like things have finally settled legally between the couple then again a new kind of case comes in.
It was Amber Heard who filed the appeal related to the $15 Million judgment that was done against her. And when it comes to him then he has slapped back again with the appeal for the awarded money $2 million that was given to Amber Heard. As per the document, Johnny Depp filed it in the Virginia Court of Appeals in Virginia on 22 July.
Johnny Depp Appeal of $2 Million from Amber Heard
The lawyer of Amber Heard finally filed an appeal in the defamation case on 21 July 2022. It was related to the verdict stating she was guilty of destroying the career of her ex-husband Johnny Depp when he has written an editorial and identified herself as a public figure of domestic violence in the Washington Post. In that editorial, the actress has never named him but the significance was totally clear.
When the final decision of the defamation trial arrived in the court then Johnny Depp was awarded 15 million and Amber Heard was 2 million.
The actress has also appeared in a lot of television shows where she has claimed the jury to be the biased one and influenced by social media. The same has happened with the legal team of Amber Heard. In reply to it, the legal team of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor clarified everything. They have also hinted toward the coming appeal made by Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.

It is not the first time that the actor has filed an appeal. It was in November 2020 when Johnny Depp appealed against him labelling him as a wife beater.
The couple was married for almost one and a half years but soon everything changed into hatred. It was first said that Johnny Depp has done domestic violence against Amber Heard but in later cases, it was proved that Amber Heard was also the one who has done domestic violence against the actor.
