Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 was under production for a few months can now finally the shooting has been wrapped which has been confirmed by the director James Gunn and the main lead of the film Cherish Pratt aka Star-Lord.
The film has been shot in Atlanta where the sets were developed by Marvel Studios. James Gunn has posted a picture of the crew and has announced the wrap of the shooting for the third part of Marvel’s Space Odessy The Guardians of the Galaxy.
In the post he captioned:
“And that’s a picture wrap on the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. I love this amazing cast & crew & their beautiful talent & kind souls. I’m a lucky human to have them on the journey with me for nearly a decade.”

James has also tweeted about the new entry into the team of Guardian of the Galaxy, She can be seen with the Gomorrah (Zoe Saldaña) who is Jennifer Holland, who has played the role of Emilia Harcourt in Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad.

Chris Pratt also confirmed the wrap as he has posted on his Instagram profile about how he has been welcomed by his family with a cake written “Welcome Home DADDY” and he has captioned the post with:
“That’s a wrap. Grateful to be home.”
Jeremy Renner aka our Hawkeye has also commented on the post as “Welcome Home papa”
Release Date of the Film
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 has been scheduled to be released on May 5, 2023, after the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will be released this holiday on Disney+.
This will be the final one in in the trilogy of Guardians of the Galaxy by James Gunn as he had tweeted during the filming:
“This is the end for us, the last time people will see this team of Guardians…I just want to be true to the characters, and the story and give people the wrap-up that they deserve for the story. That’s always a little bit scary; I’m doing my best.”
But Marvel’s Space Odessy will continue as Volume 4 of Guardians of the Galaxy has already been announced by Marvel and I think marvel will take a different approach with the franchise after Volume 3.
What could happen in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3?
The story of Guardians of the Galaxy will continue after the team’s get-together with Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder, where our thor will leave the team to search for his inner peace and ultimately will fight with Gorr the God butcher who is coming on 8 July 2022.
As per the theDirect, the team will be joined by a new member Adam Warlock who will be played by Will Poulter, and Volume 3 will deal with the origin of Rocket Racoon, about the experiment by which he was made.
And as per the Official synopsis of the movie, it will deal with the Counter-Earth and Cosmic Circus which ash been confirmed by a few set photos posted by atalanta_filming named user on Instagram.
If you don’t know about the Cosmic Circus and Counter earth, it’s the same planet earth but from another dimension where animal hybrids like Rocket lives and I think this will be part of Rocket’s backstory only.
