Penn Badgley Reacts To Cardi B’s ‘You Season 4’ Appearance

Penn Badgley Updates: Fans across the world are delighted with the recent funny Twitter conversation between Penn and Cardi B. 

The stars started their friendship recently when Penn tweeted appreciated her maintaining a close and authentic relationship with her fans on social media. 

This tweet caught the attention of Cardi, and she excitedly retweeted his tweet with, “OOOOMMFFFGGGGGG HE KNOWS ME !!!????????OMMMGGGG!!!!!! Yoooo, like, I’m famous famous”. 

Their lighthearted interactions continued on Twitter when Penn replied to her retweet with “I-“. 

The actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he was asked about the Twitter interaction. 

When asked about the short response he gave to Cardi’s retweet, he said that it was how the kids say what else someone can say when it’s Cardi herself. 

Jimmy further asked Penn if there’s any possibility of Cardi making an appearance in You Season 4 as the actor shared a conversation with him in Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Penn isn’t sure about Cardi having a role in S4 as he has no idea. He also said that he isn’t being coy or silent to keep it as a surprise and that he seriously has no idea when Jimmy teased him for keeping mum. 

Cardi and Penn even kept each other’s pictures as their respective profile photo. And that is when Netflix decided to have fun by changing their bio. It reads, “Petition to get CardiB to guest star in season 4 of You!”

Cardi even created a storyline for her role when she got to know about this petition. 

In the voice of Joe Goldberg (Penn), she took to Twitter and expressed that in Ep 1, she would be shutting down at Paris Fashion Week, and YOU will be standing behind her when she turns around. 

“So it’s episode 1 and I’m at Paris Fashion week shutting it down! I turn around and there stands YOU Ok finish it off @netflix ?”

When asked about what can happen to Joe in the upcoming season, Penn responded by saying that he only knows what the audience knows until the end of the current season. 

However, he feels his character Joe can be involved in new situations as it is fun.
