Call of Duty: Warzone: Ranked Most Powerful Weapons

Call of Duty: Warzone Updates: A new Call of Duty: Warzone patch that nerfs weapons deemed too powerful has arrived. Many fans have been calling for nerfs to be applied to some new weapons that were recently added to the online battlefield as part of Warzone’s Season Four rollout.

The MG 82 LMG was one of the new weapons to be nerfed, with patch notes suggesting at the time that the nail gun would be the next priority in an upcoming update.

The introduction of overpowered weapons did not please many Warzone players. It evokes memories of how excessively strong the DMR was before it eventually had to be nerfed multiple times.

Season Four recently launched in mid-June and players have already been calling for more weapons to be nerfed, namely the C58 assault rifle and the nail gun.

Polygon reports that Raven Software has released a new patch that nerfs both the C58 assault rifle and the nail gun. This allowed players to use the nail gun to take enemies down. However, many players quickly realized the nail gun was not only extremely powerful at close range but worked for longer distances too.

The new patch nerfs the nail gun’s range to make it more of a specialized close-range weapon. It didn’t take long for the C58 assault rifle to stand out as one of the more powerful defenses. The new patch addresses this by introducing a higher recoil, making players work harder to control their rounds.

Reception to Season Four has been mixed so far. While many players will appreciate Raven Software wasting no time in nerfing some of the more powerful additions, there is a lingering frustration aimed at the problem appearing in the first place. This disappointment also relates to the updates introduced through the latest season.

While new weapons, operators, and even a dirt bike were added, some players feel the new season does not do enough to keep the gameplay fresh and exciting. In comparison with previous seasons, Season Four does not bring any substantial changes with it to move the storyline and gameplay forward.
