Between Nezuko, Lady Tamayo, and Rui, it is very clear that in the realm of the Demon Slayer, even demons deserve some attention. Rui is easily the most villainous of these three distinct characters. Rui taunts, endangers, and almost kills the characters whom fans of the series have come to enjoy the most during his tenure on television.

Yet, in a way that few other anime villains ever do, Rui has continued to win fans’ sympathy. With this in mind, imagining Rui as a hero, facing off against other antagonists in the same way anime characters so frequently do, becomes an enjoyable mental exercise.

While it is not completely clear if, with his demon blood magic art, Rui will be able to cut through the shell of the Armoured Titan, Reiner’s habit of jumping headfirst into most of his conflicts would certainly place him at a disadvantage against Rui.
In the first season of Demon Slayer, Rui reveals the ability to emulate the force of flight using his websites. The way he flies through the air is similar to how, with their ODM gear, Mikasa and Levi are able to imitate flight.
Through this, Rui will navigate his way through the body of the armored titan and use his webs to break through the vulnerable points in the armor of Reiner.

With His Anti-Magic, Liebe (Black Clover) beats Rui
The demon who gives Black Clover’s protagonist his power is better prepared to cope with Rui. Liebe can make Rui sweat without even having to lift a sword against him, just like Shinobu, who was able to invent a toxin that helps her to take demons off balance.
In Black Clover, the reason Asta is so powerful is primarily due to the fact that Liebe has given him his anti-magic powers. Rui would be nothing more than an angry little boy if Liebe could bring his anti-magic into the realm of the Demon Slayer.
