The plot of the show is set in a world broken by the war-torn and is scarred by the great darkness called ‘Shadow fold’. Crossing the shadow fold isn’t the smartest idea due to the monsters swarming inside it. Though, Alina Starkov arrises in this darkness with a chance to destroy in the form of a humble mapmaker. Alina discovers that she is the Sun Summoner- a powerful Grisha with the ability to summon light.

Having been with an overwhelming response for season one, makes us hope for the second season. It would not be wrong to call the show a young adult fantasy hit.
