Taylor Swift Responds to ‘Critics Reviews” of “TTPD” Album!

The biggest name in the music industry is back in the news again as Taylor Swift has some words for her critics.

For those of you who aren’t aware, the 34-year-old singer dropped her studio album recently titled The Tortured Poets Department which has 16 songs.

Since it’s a Taylor Swift album, it was bound to get all the attention in the world and it did, and the critics have mixed reactions on the album. Some critics have some really good words for it while others are simply too harsh, among the latter includes Paste Magazine which has simply said it’s Taylor’s worst album to date.

The New York Times also kept the album in the not-so-good category. Top critic Dan Cairns gave a thumbs-up to the album, calling it a rich and concise collection of short stories.

Amidst the talks of positives and negatives about the album, Taylor chose to focus on the positives as she took to her Instagram and shared the positive reviews.

One of the reviews shared by Taylor was of Senior Journalist Rob Sheffield who writes for Rolling Stone and he has some appreciative words for the songs of the album, he said that the songs are cathartic confessions, which simply means that they provide a psychological relief by expressing emotions.

Taylor later surprised her fans by announcing that the album had a second installment and had 15 more songs.

Meanwhile, Taylor’s album has already broken records by reaching 300 million streams in a single day on Spotify, while she became the most streamed artist in a day on the music platform.

These are some crazy numbers and this tells that Taylor Swift has reached a position where her songs don’t need good or bad critics to be a hit or flop, they are bound to get hits because fans love her.

She also started a trend recently with the hashtag ForAFortnightChallenge, she shared a short on her YouTube channel featuring 14 moments in her life and asked her fans to take part in it.
