Berlin Official Trailer Confirms 2 Money Heist Characters Return.

Money-Heist Spin-off Netflix Berlin official trailer was released on 30th November 2023, and here are the details we have found for you.

More often than not, the death of a character in a story symbolizes the end of their journey. But Andrés de Fonollosa, alias Berlin from Money Heist, is not one of them. In the forthcoming spinoff series Berlin, we’ll enjoy the con man’s life before joining The Professor’s team.

Fans were left a significant void when Netflix’s popular series concluded in 2021 after five nail-biting seasons with dynamic characters and a captivating plot.

The franchise comes back with a new series starring Berlin, recounting the story of who and what he’d been before we met him in Money Heist.

Berlin | Official Trailer

Netflix has released the first extensive look at its prequel spinoff series Berlin, which explores the character Andrés de Fonollosa (Pedro Alonso), commonly known by his code name Berlin and working as the professor’s second-in-command.

While we’ve already seen glimpses of Berlin’s heist-planning brilliance in the original series, this specific heist takes place in Paris — he wants to take his next theft from Chez Vienot, Maison des Encheres — Paris’ most significant and most prestigious auction house.

He plans to do this with the help of a geeky and cutthroat team that consists of Keila, Cameron, Damián, Bruce, and Roi.

Furthermore, it seems that savvy police detectives Alicia Sierra & Raquel Murillo, returning to Spain, have been brought in to stop the heist — most likely because of their excellent negotiation skills and the crooks’ ties to their home country.

One thing that stood out right away was the absence of typical Money Heist masks in the clip. Will they be seen in the future? It’s not clear yet. But one thing is sure: Berlin is not powerless this time, and there is no terminal sickness on his mind.

He will carry out the heist to the very last, even if it means sleeping with the auction house owner’s wife or making fans uncomfortable with a brutal murder and his stern attitude.

Berlin will be a story about “love and heists,” delving deep into Andres’ past before becoming Berlin and what drove him that way.

If you thought Berlin’s death in Money Heist marked the end of his story, think again. This incorrigible criminal has a series full of surprises and excitement in store for you.

The cast and crew of Berlin Two Money Heist Characters Return in the New Berlin Spinoff Trailer.

The prequel includes a new cast and reintroduces Andrés de Fonollosa, alias Berlin, as the hedonistic, strangely charming, and skilled jewel thief, played by Pedro Alonso once again.

The ensemble cast includes Tristán Ulloa (Warrior Nun) as Damián, a generous professor and Berlin’s confidant. Michelle Jenner (The Cook of Castamar) portrays Keila, an electronics expert; Joel Sanchez (High Seas) portrays Cameron, and Julio Pea Fernández (Acacias 38) portrays Roi, among others.

Fans have wondered whether any Money Heist actors would return for the prequel. We have some good news: exceptional police detectives Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) & Raquel Murillo (Itziar Ituo) have returned to thwart the crime.

Most of the original crew are unlikely to return because they were discovered later by Sergio Marquina, alias The Professor, portrayed by Alvaro Morte (The Wheel of Time). However, because Sergio and Andres are brothers, he’ll probably appear in the prequel at some point, albeit this is speculation.

Netflix will start streaming in Berlin on December 29, 2023.
