The plot of the British espionage thriller ‘A Spy Among Friends’ is set in 1963’s England and centers upon a man named Nicholas Elliott who is an intelligence officer of M16. But his situation becomes complicated when he discovers that Kim Philby, his close friend, and colleague, had secretly been working for the KGB as a double agent, defecting to the Societ Union.

Alex Cary has adapted this series from Ben Macintyre’s same-named book to be directed by Nick Murphy. The series was released in the United Kingdom on 8th December 2022. It became available in the United States on 12th March 2023.
