Gunther’s Millions Trailer: Netflix will investigate the secrets & drama behind the world’s richest dog!

Netflix is releasing a new documentary series, and unlike many of its famous true-crime films, this one has four paws and appears to have a lighter tone.  Gunther IV, the world’s most decadent dog, is the subject of Gunther’s Millions.

Gunther previously made news when he sold his mansion for $29 million. This lucky German shepherd has a 400 million dollar home and many staff trained to cater to his every want.

Official Trailer of Gunther’s Millions

Don’t be tricked by the puppy eyes; Gunther is in the middle of a lot of drama, and it’s not all canine. According to the trailer, Gunther is more than spoiled.

Of course, a dog surrounded by models, with his private jet and yacht, as well as various properties in Italy, is no stroll in the park, but who are the humans behind his extravagant lifestyle?

When German Countess Karlotta Leibenstein died in 1992, she left her $80 million estate to her beloved German shepherd, Gunther III, who passed it on to his son.

Gunther VI’s inheritance has grown thanks to wise investments, giving him a net worth of $400-500 million. However, his financial success has been challenging.

The trailer depicts how Gunther’s group took advantage of his fortune, with a pop band managed by the dog evolving into something far more terrible. And that’s only the beginning. The teaser concludes with a mystery Gunther tattoo and a voice from nowhere declaring, “The dogs were cloned.”

The trailer emphasizes this social dynamic’s cult-like aspect and highlights concerns about Gunther’s wealth. In addition, the trailer glosses over the startling sentence about “engineering a new breed of man.”

From then, it’s a rush of individuals ducking questions and making more questionable statements, ending in the big reveal that the dogs are cloned! That explains how one German shepherd has survived three decades. Even with the surprise revealed, there is still a slew of unanswered concerns regarding what the hell is happening within this canine empire.

The four-part investigative documentary series explores relationships around fortune, dogs, and things. Executive producers Aurelien Leturgie and Emilie Dumay crisscross the world in the search for answers, getting access to never-before-seen archives and sitting down for intimate or sometimes shocking conversations with Mian and the rest of Gunther’s longtime associates in the hopes of understanding the complicated truth behind the world’s wealthiest pet. But wait till you get to the cloning portion.

Watch the trailer for Gunther’s Millions to discover more about Gunther VI and the strange events behind his fortune, and then tune in to the show when it arrives on Netflix on February 1.
