It was announced that the filming of the Virgin River Season 5 started in March 2022 but due to some unknown reasons it was shifted to July 2022 it took around 4 months for the complete wrapping up of the series so it was completed in November 2022.
And to be more specific the entire filming was done on 21st November 2022 and we got to know this through an Instagram post sharing the wrapping-up information of Virgin River Season 5.

How many episodes are going to be there this time in Virgin River Season 5?
Except for season 4 of the virgin river, all the previous Seasons have the legacy of having 10 episodes. But season 4 of the series had 12 episodes and it had got the extension of two more episodes.
And thankfully this time also season 5 of Virgin River will be having 12 episodes in totality.
