BTS is the most famous South Korean boy band in the music industry. RM is the leader of the group as well as the singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer.
On December 2, RM released his most anticipated solo album “Indigo” which became famous in no time. Among BTS members, RM is the third one to release a solo album after J-Hope and Jin.
He has referred to Indigo as the “final archive of his twenties,” and it describes his feelings and experiences as a human and a musician over the past ten years.
According to Hanteo, it was revealed that the album sold more than 550,000 copies on the first day alone. Along with his bandmate Jin from BTS, Baekhyun from EXO, and Lim Young Woong, RM is now the fourth male solo artist to accomplish this milestone. The title track is “Wild Flower” which features Cho Youjeen.
The music video for the song “Wild Flower” was released on December 2. In this album, ‘Indigo’ RM has worked with various artists such as Tablo, Erykah Badu, and Anderson.Paak, Park Ji Yoon, Kim Sa Wol and many more.

The album had 10 songs in it which includes: Yun (with Erykah Badu), Wild Flower (with youjeen), No.2 (with parkjiyoon), Still Life (with Anderson . Paak), All Day (with Tablo), Frog_tful (with Kim Sawol), Closer (Paul Blanco, Mahalia), Change pt.2, Lonely, Hectic (with Code).
In the song, RM conveys his wish to live more like a wildflower than a fleeting spark. Beautifully captured in the video is the struggle in his head. RM also discusses his journey, his goals, what he sought, and what he has accomplished in the song.
In 2015, RM released RM, his debut solo mixtape. In 2018, he released his second mixtape, Mono, which went on to become the highest-charting album by a Korean solo artist in the history of the charts, peaking at number 26 on the US Billboard 200.
Additionally, he has worked with musicians like Lil Nas X, Erykah Badu, Warren G, Gaeko, Krizz Kaliko, MFBTY, Falls Out Boy, and Anderson. He has also collaborated with Wale, Younha, and Younha. Paak.
