Ginny & Georgia is a new Netflix smashing series that takes fans on a crazy ride. Ginny and Georgia, mother and daughter, may appear to have little in common. They learn, however, that they have more similarities than they thought after arriving in Wellsbury, Massachusetts. And, following season one’s explosive ending, viewers will wonder what happens next for their favorite characters as they deal with the fallout.
Release Date of Ginny & Georgia Season 2
Ginny & Georgia Season 2 will premiere on January 5, 2023. Netflix shared the good news on Instagram, and a sneak peek at the upcoming sophomore season.

The cast of Ginny & Georgia season 2
Ginny & Georgia has a vast ensemble cast, and we have excellent news: several cast members will return for season 2.
Series stars Antonia Gentry and Brianne Howey are returning to their roles as Ginny and Georgia, as revealed by on-set images released on Instagram. In addition, diesel La Torraca, who plays Ginny’s younger brother Austin, is also returning.

The following cast members have already been set to play for the second season:
Felix Mallard as Marcus Baker
Sara Waisglass as Max
Jennifer Robertson as Ellen, Marcus and Max’s mom
Mason Temple as Hunter Chen
Scott Porter as Mayor Paul Randolph and Georgia’s eventual fiancé
Raymond Ablack as Joe
Nathan Mitchell, who plays Zion, Georgia’s ex & Ginny’s biological father, and Humberly González, who plays Sophie, Max’s love interest, are both expected to return.
Aaron Ashmore has been added to the cast as a fresh member. In addition, Gil Timmins, Georgia’s ex-boyfriend & Austin’s biological father, will be played by him. Gil will change things in Wellsbury, and we can’t wait to see what happens.

What can we expect from Ginny & Georgia season 2?
Ginny & Georgia’s first season ended on a big cliffhanger, which significantly affects the storyline of season 2. In case you missed it, the last episode saw Ginny leaving home with her younger brother Austin while riding Marcus’ motorcycle.
This was after Ginny’s friend group realized Marcus and Ginny were hooking up behind Hunter’s back, while Marcus and Max started their sibling fight, and after Georgia appeared to have gotten away with murder.
Many familiar people appear in the photographs, including Marcus, Ginny’s love interest, who is shown with Ginny, hinting at a continuation of their somewhat chaotic romance. Ginny’s ex-boyfriend Hunter, who she cheated on with Marcus, also appears, suggesting a possible love triangle.
Despite her self-doubt, the images show Ginny acting like a typical teenager, returning to school and reuniting with her MANG – her best pal. Georgia may take a third journey down the aisle in the new season, following her engagement to the local Mayor, Paul, with whom she was seen sharing a moment.
Season 2’s official description was posted by Netflix on December 1: “How do you deal with the fact that your mother is a murderer?”
That is something Ginny will have to work out. Ginny is troubled by the realization that her stepfather, Kenny, did not die naturally, and she must now live with the knowledge that Georgia not only murdered, but she killed, to shield Ginny.
On the other hand, Georgia would like to forget about the past; besides, she has a marriage to prepare for! But the odd thing about Georgia’s history is that it never truly dies…” Well, Buckle up, everyone!
