The upcoming fantasy miniseries is named ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and Declan de Barra have created the series adapting it from Andrzej Sapkowski’s ‘The Witcher book series.

The plot will follow the ancient civilization of Elves before their demise and especially seven outcasts of the elf world uniting themselves for a quest to defeat a seemingly unconquerable power. The series will also delve into the creation of the first Witcher and the events that will lead to the “Conjunction of the Spheres”.

Sophia Brown, Michelle Yeoh, Minnie Driver, Laurence O’Fuarain, Lenny Henry, Mirren Mack, Nathaniel Curtis, and Dylan Moran will be starring in the upcoming miniseries. It will be consisting of four episodes and will premiere on Netflix on December 25, 2022.
