The Participant’s forthcoming documentary which was announced by Netflix by Margaret Brown and is called, Descendant, is available all over the world on this platform and will be going to stream in theatre in the month of October 2022.

Margaret Brown, the filmmaker for this documentary series gets back to his hometown of Mobile, Alabama, so that he documents the search for and historic discovery of The Clotilda, this was the last known ship to arrive in the United States, which was carrying illegally the enslaved Africans.

They maintained it in secret and then speculated, then after a year of all this struggle, in the year 2019 the discovery of the shipment the attention completely towards the descendant community of the African town and presents a moving portrait of the community which was actively grabbing with and also fighting to preserve their legacy while observing for justice looks like today.
