LiSA Another Great Day Production Details of Netflix Documentary

In the fall of 2022, “LiSA Another Great Day,” a documentary that tracks the anisong singer LiSA’s debut decade, will be available to stream globally on Netflix. This will be a Japanese solo artist’s first Netflix original documentary.

The solo debut 10-year project “LiiiiiiiiiiSA,” which has been ongoing since April 2021, will conclude with this documentary. It will closely follow LiSA’s days and provide a close-up view of her actual face, which can only be seen in this context.

The film’s director is Takatoshi Sado, a renowned TV producer and documentary filmmaker best known for his work on NHK’s Kohaku Uta Gassen.

He stated, “LiSA -san is a top star, yet she is a very regular person who experiences anxiety in her daily life. “She encounters problems at work for some reason. But I can always relate to how she overcomes these difficulties and keeps developing every day. I’m glad to show her real face to Netflix subscribers all across the world.”

The documentary, directed by Taketoshi Sado, who most recently oversaw Haruomi Hosono’s U.S. Tour documentary Sayonara America, examines how the “Homura” singer enters a new chapter of her career as she celebrates her tenth anniversary.

The movie shows the artist’s human side as she honestly works to make “every day as good as it can be” in a dynamic setting where the songs and live performances that serve as the core of her career are created.

LiSA is a celebrity, but she’s still a regular person who experiences anxiety on a daily basis, according to Sado. “She constantly seems to run into trouble when she’s working for some reason, but I can always connect to the way she gets through it and keeps improving every day. It gives me tremendous pleasure to introduce her to Netflix users around.

LiSA Another Great Day
Arama Japan

In this documentary, LiSA, who has amassed followers not just in Japan but also throughout the world because of her several popular songs, including the theme song for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” shows her genuine self.

She has encountered diverse realities and made numerous errors in her life as a result of her “humble” but “unbending” manner of living. After going through such things, the young person who had a band and idolized Avril Lavigne grew up and is now one of Japan’s top artists, marking its 10th anniversary in 2021.

By dedicating herself as a member of the group that makes up “LiSA” without having too much faith in herself, she has achieved her goal of being a rock singer, which she had imagined when she was in school.

In this film, LiSA takes us on a journey through the highs and lows of her life as she enters a new stage of her 10-year project. We also meet her at the studio where she crafts the songs and live performances that are the core of LiSA in order to make every day a “better day.” A documentary that looks into LiSA’s genuine self as a person who keeps moving forward.
