In the video footage, she is heard saying, “I believe that the notion of childhood was established as a ruse to get parents to spend a lot of money on stuff that’s not teaching their kid anything.”

Julia and her ex-husband Peter Artemiev are parents to their son Valentino, who is 19 months old. She said, “You just end up raising a child who is helpless and doesn’t know what to do.”

Julia said her kid doesn’t care about his “toys,” and she advised other parents to get their children cleaning tools such as brooms and mops.

She shared her observation that she has seen her kid is less interested in his toys and more interested in things that she is doing. “I observed that with my son, he does not care about his toys,” she added.

“Therefore, I recommend that all parents get their children a toy broom and mop and begin teaching them those essential life skills at an early age. That way, when they join the working world, they won’t have to rely on others to do everything for them.”

She came to the conclusion that they were capable of doing things for themselves. “That is something that I believe to be really significant.” The video has received more than 2.7 million views, and fans of TikTok have taken to the comment area to offer their reactions and comments on Julia’s guidance.

“We adore a capitalist class labor relations savvy queen One person said, “Marx and Engels could never,” while another remarked, “Completely agree my kid has been performing electrical work in our house since he was 1.5 years old.”

Some fans were blunter in their criticism, with one user stating that giving children things that don’t necessarily have a purpose isn’t ‘pointless,’ it assists in the cognitive and physical growth of children! Toys do not serve any use.

Another person chimed in, saying, “I would argue that the notion of childhood is more about safeguarding individuals at the most vulnerable moment of their lives than it is about marketing stuff.”

In a subsequent video that she uploaded, Julia displayed a film of her son’s little cleaning products and captioned it, “Me gazing at the most controversial thing I did this year.” This video was posted in response to the first one.
