Selena Gomez Once Played Babysitter For Jessica Simpson’s Oldest Daughter Maxwell

During an interview with Jessica Simpson, the actress revealed that Selena Gomez is not only a great singer-producer but also a very good babysitter, as her 10-year-old daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson attended her very first concert with Selena Gomez.
On July 8, on an Instagram Live with American Express Business, Simpson admitted, “I was sad when Maxwell got to go to her first concert… Olivia Rodrigo, she went to.” She had Selena Gomez watch her children.
The first concert attended by Simpson’s daughter was unexpectedly not her own mother’s, she continued. Simpson, who performs the popular song “I Wanna Love You Forever,” admitted, “I always thought it was going to be me as her first concert.”

Victoria Gomez, an “Only Murders in the Building” actor, has two younger half-sisters named Victoria Gomez and Gracie Elliot Teefey. Teefey and Maxwell, one of West’s closest friends, were seen in June at North West’s ninth birthday celebration.

The oldest of Simpson’s three children—and the first of her three with husband Eric Johnson—is Maxwell. Simpson previously expressed the hope that Maxwell might eventually take over the Jessica Simpson Collection, a billion-dollar fashion brand.

In 2015, Simpson told POPSUGAR, “I feel like the business my mom and I built will be passed down to my daughter, and hopefully she can keep it going.”

Simpson has been candid about the rewards and difficulties of raising three children. With her children attending school via Zoom and her role as a working mother, Jessica Simpson said in 2021, “I definitely had to multitask on a whole new level this year.”

She added, “I had to push through inspired ideas that became endless and so many rewarded, all while keeping my family smiling.” Simpson also said, “I kept the Jessica Simpson Collection running remotely.”
