Ratched Season 2 Update: Back in 2020 Netflix released an amazing horror drama thriller series titled Ratched, the bone-chilling series was absolutely loved by the fans, the first season consisted of 8 episodes and it gained a viewership of 48 million within 28 days and became one of the most viewed debut series of the year 2020.

It was basically based on a story of a sociopath woman (nurse) who had a very disturbing and damaging which made her turn into a murderer, the series had literally everything and every minute is full of suspense and thrill which got itself an IMDB rating of 7.2.

Now that it has already 2 years since the release of the first season, fans must be wondering whether the second season will be released or not, well we will surely try to answer.

When the shower was released in September 2020, it was already announced that it will be in two seasons, and given the unexpected success of the first season, it was clear that there will surely be a second season, but when? well unfortunately we don’t know the exact dates about it and we aren’t even fully sure whether the scripts are getting prepared or not.

We all know that American writer Ryan Murphy (writer of the show) is busy most of the time dealing with his other big projects, so this Netflix project is certainly on hold and besides that, Covid-19 added up to the further delay.

You must be surprised to know that the creators of the show initially wanted to release it in a four-part series but the way all the cast, characters, and story unfolded itself in season 1, one thing was clear there will be season 2 and a wrap up after that. By the way, the story is based on the 1962 novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Well, in end all we can say is that we will have to wait patiently for the second part, and hopefully, it will be out early next year.
