On July 1, 2022, Stranger Things Season 4 Vol 2 is set to release on Netflix. This sci-fi horror series is created by Duffer Brothers and has been proved a very popular series among the supernatural sci-fi series of the present time. In Rotten Tomatoes the series made respectively 97%, 94%, 89%, and 90% during the four seasons.
It received nominations for a number of accolades including Primetime Emmy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. The individual cast members also received several awards.
The story of ‘Stranger Things is set in the 1980s in a fictional rural town called Hawkins. The town is situated in Indiana. The plot centers around the supernatural and paranormal experiments of Hawkins National Laboratory involving test subjects that are human.

The laboratory in this way has created an alternate dimension that begins to cast its perilous effect on the residents of the area.
A group of young residents of Hawkins is the center of the story that includes Mike Wheeler, Eleven, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Charles Sinclair, Nancy Wheeler, and Jonathan Byers. Eleven is a young girl capable of telepathy and psychokinesis who gets romantically involved with Mike.
Eleven played by Millie Bobby Brown-
Eleven was a test subject of the National Laboratory of Hawkins. Her mother Teresa Ives is a participant in the experiment that the laboratory conducts. She seems to be born with the ability of telekinesis. But when she uses this ability, it causes her to bleed her nose and become weak for some time.
The character of Eleven gives rise to the brilliant British young actress Millie Bobby Brown. Though Brown’s first on-screen appearance was through Young Alice in two episodes of ‘Once Upon a Time in Wonderland’ in 2013.
The next year she played main the role of Madison in BBC America’s ‘Intruders’. From 2016 to the present baje has been starring in ‘Stranger Things’ in the role of Eleven.
Her acting in film began with ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ in 2019. In 2020 she produced and starred in the titular character of the mystery film ‘Enola Holmes’ which is based on Nancy Springer’s character whom she has fabricated as the sister of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes who herself is a brilliant mind in the deduction.
This film is adapted from the first Enola Holmes story of Springer that revolves around Enola trying to find her missing mother with whom she has been living a reserved life from the outside but full of adventurous and unconventional lessons. The next Enola Holmes movie is set to release in 2022.
Brown reprised her role of Madison in ‘Godzilla vs. Kong in 2021. She has four more upcoming movies in her queue two of which she also produces. In 2023 her ‘Damsel’ is set to release and the other three films are ‘The Girls I’ve Been’, ‘The Thing About Jellyfish’, and ‘The Eclectic State’.
These films have not received any fixed release date yet. Among various comparatively minor accolades like People’s, Teen’s, and Kid’s Choice Awards she received two Primetime Emmy Awards nominations under the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2017 and 2018. She also received four Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations with one win.
Mike Wheeler played by Finn Wolfhard-
Mike is one of the three friends of the missing Will Byers and is an intelligent student. The role of Mike is the breakthrough role of Canadian young actor and musician Finn Wolfhard. His other onscreen appearances include movies like ‘It Chapter Two’, ‘The Goldfinch’, ‘The Turning’, ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’, ‘When You Finish Saving the World, etc.
Joyce Byers played by Winona Ryder-
Joyce Byers is the mother of the missing Will Byers. The brilliant actress Winona Ryder plays the role of Joyce Byers in the series. Her important roles are in films like ‘Heathers’, ‘Mermaids’, ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’, ‘Edward Scissorhands’, ‘Great Balls of Fire’. She received nominations for the BAFTA Award and Academy Awards.
For her role in ‘Stranger Things,’ she received Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and Satellite Award nomination.
Jim Hopper played by David Harbour –
Jim Hopper is the chief of the Police Department of Hawkins. At the beginning of the series, he is seen to have yielded to alcoholism after his daughter’s death of cancer and his eventual divorce. Though eventually, he proves to be a more responsible and important figure to solve the mysteries of Hawkins.
He also adopts Eleven as his daughter. David Harbour, the American actor who stars in the role, also appeared in films like ‘Kidney’, ‘Awake’, ‘The Green Hornet’, ‘W.E.’, ‘Parkland’, ‘Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein’, ‘Hellboy’, ‘Extraction’, ‘Black Widow’ and series like ‘Pan Am’, ‘The Newsroom’, ‘Rake’, ‘Manhattan’, ‘State of Affairs’, etc.
