About Ginny & Georgia

The show follows the story of a mother of two children, a former Southern Belle, Georgia who relocates her family to New England, in the town of Wellsberry after the mysterious death of her husband. Georgia tries to settle in the new place making new friends & enemies at the same time. Adding to it her tragic past keeps coming back to bite her & now she has to deal with the consequences of her decisions.

The show is an in one treatment with family drama crime self-harm & complexities of relationships. By the end of the first season, relationships were tangled in the threads of complications & emotions.

How did the show gains popularity?

The show was not that popular it was gaining views but its performance got accelerated after the famous pop singer Taylor Swift posted a rant about a throwaway joke from the show- about a character from the show who have slept with many men comparing it to the ‘exes of Taylor Swift’. After the tweet, stats stated that the show lasted into 10 lists of Netflix, America for 44 days.

Possible Release Date 

Ginny & Georgia, which came with its first season on Feb 24, 2021. After the popularity of the first season, Netflix announced Ginny & Georgia Season 2 but then it left its audience on cliff hanger only. Now in Feb 2022 season 2 went on the ground increasing the expectations of the audience, still, the release date is not given out & hence the fans have to wait.
