Canadian TV Series ‘Murdoch Mysteries’ is based on the fictional Detective Murdoch created by Maureen Jennings. The setting of the plot is the year 1895, Toronto, and the series revolves around a genius detective who is ahead of his time-solving crimes mysteries. The name of this detective is William Murdoch. He is from the Toronto Constabulary.

Detective Murdoch introduces techniques in solving crimes that were utterly new at that time. These methods include fingerprint, surveillance, blood test, trace evidence, etc.

Yannick Bisson plays the role of the titular detective Murdoch. The first season of the series premiered on January 20, 2008. Season 15 aired on September 13, 2021. The first two episodes of season 15 are named by the famous quote of ‘Game of Thrones– ‘The Things We Do for Love’. After almost four years of imprisonment when it is three months left for him to be released, he escapes in order to find his girlfriend. Once again Burke catches Caffrey. But now, the genius thief makes a proposal of helping Burke catch dangerous criminals if he does not imprison him.

Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay play the roles of Caffrey and Burke respectively. The series ran on USA Network from October 23, 2009, to December 18, 2014.

Thus he has become a renowned consultant of Sacramento, California despite not having a career in law. But Patrick’s real motive behind this is to look for a serial killer Red John who murdered his wife brutally.

Simon Baker stars as Patrick Jane. The series ran on CBS from September 23, 2008, to February 18, 2015.
