Raising Dion Season 2 Updates: ‘Raising Dion’ is one of the most overwhelming TV Series on Netflix right now. The superhero drama was released on the forerunning streaming platform on October 4, 2019. It was renewed in January of 2020 for a new season.

‘Raising Dion’ features a mother-son duo with Nicole and Dion. Nicole is a single mother and has been raising her son Dion by herself since her husband’s death. About the Filming Location of ‘Raising Dion Season 2
The entire series is filmed in Georgia. Season 1 had its production commenced there from the end of July 2018 with the production being ended during the next months.
The filming of season 2 was delayed like many other series due to the Covid 19 pandemic. But nevertheless, it began filming in January 2021. The shooting was mostly done in Atlanta and some cities nearby.
All the primary photography of the series occurs in Atlanta which is also the setting of the plot of ‘Raising Dion’. Atlanta has been proved very convenient as a center for the production of movies and TV Series of all the regions of Georgia as the state offers 20% of a transferable income tax credit. A number of important scenes have been shot in the EUE Screen Gems Studios that is located at the Parking lot, 175 Lakewood Way South West Atlanta.
The filming of series and films like ‘Stranger Things‘, ‘Black Panther’, ‘Necessary Roughness’, ‘The Internship’, ‘Devious Maids’ have been hosted in this studio. EUE Gems Studio consists of 33 acres of area and it also has 11 sound stages along with other filming facilities for the production of films and series.
The production team of ‘Raising Dion’ has used fake snow while filming in the region of Atlanta for the scenes of Icelandic. The Peach State has also been doubled up for The Land of Ice and Fire.
Fox Theatre is located at 660 Peachtree Street North-East, Atlanta. This venue of performing arts has been the host for several cultural and artistic events and a number of musical concerts by renowned musicians over the years.

Home to only around 3000 people, this city is located in the country of southern Fulton. The producers deemed this place convenient for filming owing to its proximity to Atlanta, the primary filming location. They chose it for shooting exterior scenes in the beautiful natural locality.
When the filming of the first season commenced, first the cast and crew of ‘Raising Dion‘ visited the city of Fairburn. It is a city that is located only a few miles away from Chattahoochee Hills and which brings a lot of tourists every year to the Georgia Renaissance Festival.
The city of Locust Grove is located within thirty miles to the south of Downtown Atlanta. The city is in Henry County. Locust Grove Train Watching Platform, Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, French Market, and Tavern are some of the tourist attractions in this region.
Though the tourists can also go hiking or just quietly enjoy the recreational opportunities, offered by the city. Locust Grohe of Georgia is also a location where some of the filmings of ‘Raising Dion’ took place.
