Stranger Things (season 4)-

The sci-fi horror drama will return with its fourth season after a long time of waiting. From the trailer released by Netflix, it is clear that Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), the psychokinetic and telepathic young girl is in a new school and hopes to meet Mike (Finn Wolfhard) at Spring break. That being said we have to wait a little longer for them as season 4 will not be there on Netflix until Summer in 2022.
Till the series’ premiere on July 15, 2016, it has been acclaimed a lot and won six Primetime Emmy Awards, one Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, one Critics’ Choice Television Award, two American Film Institute Awards, and three People’s Choice Awards. There can be no second word of the season 4 also being a global hit.
The Umbrella Academy (season 3)-
Premiere: TBA
Another series to leave the fans with a huge cliffhanger in its previous season. In Season 2, we were introduced to the Sparrow Academy which is another group of superhumans formed by Reginald in an alternate reality.
In the upcoming Season 3, we hope to see more of this mysterious Sparrow Academy. The episodes’ titles have been declared with the first one being ‘Meey the Family’.
The first season of ‘Umbrella Academy‘ was released on Netflix on February 15, 2019, with the second season following on July 31, 2020. The series has become a big hit on Netflix. As there is no fixed date for the Season 3 premiere, we anticipate the release of the upcoming season sometime in 2022.
Alice in Borderland (season 2)-

In the first season of this Japanese sci-fi thriller drama, we saw a group of people trapped in a mortally dangerous game where they have to go on playing to collect certain cards that will help them to win their way back home. Unless, quite like ‘Squid Game‘s, they will die.
After a huge cliffhanger, the first season left us in 2020 as it premiered on December 10, 2020, on Netflix. The main stars included Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya. The title of the series is based on a pun to the title of a renowned children’s novel by Lewis Carroll ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, commonly referred to as Alice in Wonderland.
Though a certain date has not been announced by Netflix yet, it is hoped that season two will premiere in December this year.
Resident Evil (season 1)-
Premiere: TBA
Although there have been a number of anime and movies on the Japanese video game franchise of the same name, a live-action TV Series is for the first time.
The series will be set at a time when three decades have already passed after the discovery of T-virus and the revelation of Umbrella Corporation’s dark secrets due to the outbreak. The Wesker kids moving to Racoon City are also going to be one of the main foci of the plot.
Netflix has not announced a specific date of the premiere though it is expected that it will hit the streaming media at some time in 2022. Andrew Dabb, renowned for ‘Supernatural’ is both the showrunner and executive producer of this science fiction action horror upcoming TV Series.
Raising Dion (season 2)-
Premiere: February 1, 2022
Since 2019 when Netflix’s new hit of that year ‘Raising Dion‘ left us with Dion and Nicole struggling through the superhuman power in the former and Dion defeating the Crooked Man, we have been waiting for season 2 to arrive on Netflix.
And after two years of waiting it is coming on February 1st, 2022. And there is no doubt that Dion will have to face a new danger that threatens the whole city of Atlanta. We will also get to see more of the mother-son duo of Nicole and Dion along with another kid Brayden Mills, who also has a superpower.
Based on the comic book by Dennis Liu ‘Raising Dion’, the series first premiered on October 4, 2019, on Netflix. It starred Ja’Siah Young as Dion and Alisha Wainwright as Nicole whom we will meet again in the second season.
