Money Heist Season 5 Updates: After the devastating season four finale in April 2020, fans have been eager to see what would happen to their favorite characters.
The Netflix series just released a teaser, and keen fans saw a key plot twist that foreshadowed a major theme in the upcoming season of Money Heist. The dramatic teaser was jam-packed with information about the robbers and what they could face in Season 5.
It showed them preparing for a massive fight while being raided by the military. The group also quietly bids each other farewell, knowing that a battle for survival would almost certainly result in death or imprisonment.
Nairobi, a beloved character, was tragically murdered by captive César Ganda (José Manuel Poga) in season four, as was predicted. Not only did her violent death hurt other gang members, but it also put many spectators in tears, as seen by social media posts.

Despite this, some fans believe the team will be able to reach freedom after a brief glimpse from the teaser suggested they could be able to overthrow the regime. It was an aerial shot of a case containing antique artifacts that seemed to be valuable since the unnamed handler was wearing gloves.
This may be a key plot point for the show, and a significant departure from the initial idea. The Professor (Alvaro Morte) first engaged eight individuals to carry out his plot to steal Spain’s Royal Mint. His father, who died before he could execute the unlawful deed, motivated him to carry out the robbery.
Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait long for season five to return, and they’ll be able to witness if this hypothesis comes true and becomes the narrative. Money Heist Part 5: Volume 1 will be available on Netflix on September 3rd. Volume 2 will be released on December 3rd.
