American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot and Everything we know so far

American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 2 Updates: It’s been two years since American Horror Story last gave us nightmares, and after ten seasons, we can’t help but fear that the program is becoming a little too predictable or uninspired this time around. After all, 1984 was a contentious film, and the American Horror Stories offshoot had us questioning whether it was meant to be terrible.
Two episodes from Season 10’s first half, dubbed ‘Red Tide,’ have already been released, and we’re glad to report that Double Feature is a welcome return to form for American Horror Story. The first of these two episodes, ‘Cape Fear,’ introduces us to the Gardner family as they arrive in Providence, a peaceful coastal town. Except, because this is an American Horror Story episode, there’s plenty to keep even the most seasoned horror lover up at night.
We feel obligated to praise Paulson’s performance as genuinely superlative at this point, and it’s because the queen of American Horror Story can’t do anything wrong. Murphy’s muse, despite having a character that appears to be unlikeable at first, always manages to steal each scene she’s in, no matter how little screen time she’s given.
Doris Gardner, Lily Rabe’s expectant mother, is attacked by someone or something not long after, which is made even more disturbing by the fact that it occurs in the local graveyard. She and her kid are on the run from what can only be described as Voldemort’s pasty spawn and Salem’s Lot vampires.

All About American Horror Story Season 10 Episode 2

Us Weekly
The decision to pair Finn Wittrock and Lily Rabe as the two protagonists are one of the show’s strongest points. These fan favorites have proved time and time again that they are more than capable of directing a season on their own, and when they work together, they release exactly the type of visceral, riveting performances that long-time viewers would expect from them both.
Despite this, we doubt they’ll be your favorite characters this season, as that honor will surely belong to Austin Sommers and Belle Noir, a.k.a. “the pugilists of prose,” a.k.a. Evan Peters and Frances Conroy in two of their greatest roles to date. And we’re not only referring to American Horror Story.
It doesn’t reflect badly on Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman, or Macaulay “frottage” Culkin that we haven’t even gotten to them yet. And that’s before the likes of Angelica Ross and Denis O’Hare make an appearance beyond the first two episodes. Of course, the performers aren’t the only ones that elevate this season.
Everything here works together to both unnerve and delight, from the creepy soundtrack and directing to the washed-out color pallet of the camera. That’s a difficult balance to strike, and Ryan Murphy and his staff are all too familiar with it.
American Horror Story: Double Feature premieres on FX on August 25 in the United States and on Disney+ in the United Kingdom in October. Series 1-8 are accessible on Netflix, while seasons 1-9 are available for purchase on Amazon Prime Video.
