Animal Crossing Updates: According to Nintendo of America CEO Doug Bowser, “new and entertaining activities” would be added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the future.

Despite the absence of Animal Crossing: New Horizons at this year’s E3, Nintendo of America CEO Doug Bowser claimed that the game will receive further content.

For a few months after the initial release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons in March 2020, social media users were able to debate it. It continues to be one of the best-selling Switch games of all time thanks to its massive sales numbers.

However, more than a year after the game’s release, many players are dissatisfied with the lack of significant new upgrades. For example, the April 2021 update did not offer any new events or substantial changes to the game, but it did bring back events like the wedding season and introduced new products to the seasonal Nook Shopping.

Many gamers were dissatisfied with the second year of Animal Crossing when compared to the amount of content in the prior game, Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

President Doug Bowser told The Verge in an interview that more users are spending time with the console’s online functions in titles like and Monster Hunter: Rise.

While [at the E3 Nintendo Direct] we did not talk about it, we certainly have plans to guarantee that the 33 million people living on the islands have fresh and enjoyable activities to engage with. Search for more.

The issue then becomes what kind of additional material players may expect in future game releases. Earlier this year, it was rumored that the game islands may be expanded as a result of a data mine in the island’s specifications. This, however, has yet to be included in the game.

Beloved businesses and NPCs like Brewster were previously featured in previous data mines from 2020, along with Gyroids, although it’s unclear whether this is a planned feature for the game or whether Brewster was deleted.
