1899 On Netflix: Release Date, Plot And Other Details Of The Show By ‘Dark’ Makers

1899 Updates: Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar’s Dark that broke records everywhere is going to be hard to beat but the writers are planning on another show, with equal mystery and anticipation of the unravelling of the mystery.

The writers’ Dark was Netflix’s first original German show that is said to be the third most viewed international television series in the USA. It ran for three season from 2017 to 2020, finally coming to an end; leaving its global audience dumbfounded at the tangibility of time and space continuum.

Netflix recently revealed that the writers have put their brains together again and are coming with another television series, 1899.

The show,1899, was supposed to be released in 2021 but due to the pandemic and unsuitable situation, the show’s shooting did not start until April and will now be finished by November. Considering the latest turn of events, the show most probably would be released in 2022.

The first season of the show will have eight episodes, with each episode of a duration of an hour. The pilot episode of the show is titled, “The Ship”.
