As per the sources and Demon Slayer Fandom, the plot of Season 2 of the anime will start from the part where Season 1 was left off. This means we can expect the story to be continued after the Mugen Train arc.
In Season 2 we can see Tanjiro and his friends will go to Yoshiwara the red-light district in Edo, as their various wives have gone missing and demon activity was suspected.

When Demon Slyer the Movie can be expected?
The most-awaited movie of Demon Slyer, which has been titled “Demon Slayer: Infinity Train Arc” in the English version will be released in North America, Australia, and New Sealand in early 2021.
The Japanese version of the movie has already been released in October 2021 which has broken various records in 2020 in Japanese theaters.
The Demon Slayer Mobile Game will also be released very soon as per the sources after its success of movie adaptation.
