Stranger Things Season 4 Characters Update & Much More

Stranger Things Season 4 Update: Season 4 of Stranger Things, according to Gaten Matarazzo, will be more mature and aim to include the cast and characters’ growing pains. Will (Noah Schnapp), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin (Matarazzo), and Eleven (Matarazzo) make up Matt and Ross Duffer’s young cast (Millie Bobby Brown).

Our heroes have fought dark powers swirling around the Upside Down with the help of Priah Ferguson’s Erica, Sadie Sink’s Max (season 2), older teenagers Nancy, Jonathan, Steve, Robin, local police chief Jim Hopper, and Will/mum, Jonathan’s Joyce Byers.

Stranger Things Season 4: Update

Stranger Things is a coming-of-age tale that follows the residents of Hawkins, Indiana, on top of its successful mix of 80s nostalgia and horror. With each season, the show’s characters and stars have matured, resulting in unavoidable age gaps.

The first season is set in 1983, where the teenage characters are in middle school, while Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve are in high school. By the close of season 3, the latter had graduated and the former is going to be freshmen. Stranger Stuff is rated TV-14, but as the characters’ voices cracked, the show’s aggression and cursing levels increased.

Stranger Things’ Matarazzo spoke with ET lately about the widely awaited fourth season. When questioned to characterize the season’s sound, the now 18-year-old actor clarified that the show matures with its cast, praising the Duffer brothers’ willingness to adjust both the actors’ and their characters’ new problems:

Eleven and the Byers left Hawkins at the close of Stranger Things Season 3. And if it’s just for a little while, they’ll be back in Hawkins in the fourth season. Our protagonists will be grappling with more than just the growing pains involved with youthful adolescence and maturity, with the Russians performing experimentation and the Upside Down and Mind Flayer also in play. Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, and Joseph Quinn will all be new series members in Stranger Things Season 4. Season 4 is the scariest yet, according to Matarazzo, that is asking a ton because season 3 had a creature made out of the “Flayed.”
