Cardi B astonished by Priyanka Chopra’s ‘The White Tiger’, says “I was Crying”

The White Tiger Updates: The White Tiger casting Priyanka Chopra, Rajakumar Rao, and Adarsh  Gourav has been rated in some great reviews since its release on Netflix last week.

Based on Arvind’s Adiga’s Man Booker prize-winner, the Ramin Bahrani direction is a searing commentary on the caste system. With the heavy subject in it, the film has been sparked with some dramatic reactions from audiences across the world.

Among the many viewers, the Netflix title has been found an unlikely fan in Cardi B. the Grammy-winning rapper has seen the film and it left quite an impression.

What Cardi B has to say about The White Tiger?

In a tweet, Cardi B unleashes that The White Tiger moved her to tears.

Priyanka Chopra thanked Cardi to which the ‘WAP’ hitmaker tagged by heaping praise on the actress performance in the film.

The White Tiger looks at Chopra plays Pinky, the New-York returnee wife of Ashok who hires Balram as their driver. As the class divide parable unfolds, Pinky respects Balram but things change after a car accident.

The Netflix film has garnered praise from fans and critics alike as well. While few opined that the narrative struct and plot are fatigued, the acting chops of the lead trio Gourav, Chopra, and Rao weren’t in question.

Chopra started the year with a blast with a stacked slate after ending 2020 on We Can Be Hero’s which is going to a sequel. She is all set to star in Text for You alongside Celine Dion and in Keanu starrer The Matrix 4. Back to when The White Tiger released, Chopra’s soul mate Nick Jonas and her father-in-law also gushed over the powerful performance.
