Falcon and Winter Soldier Fan Poster Imagines Old Steve Rogers Joining The Cast

Falcon and Winter Soldier Updates: Marvel is officially bringing back Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and a new Falcon and imagines him entering the show with the Winter Soldier poster.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier are joined by Old Steve Rogers in a new fan poster. As the MCU starts Step 4 with Wanda Vision, news broke out that Marvel Studios is supposedly in negotiations for a project or two to carry Chris Evans back to the universe.

The actor denied it, and Kevin Feige remained a mom on the matter, but as shown by a string of content from loyal followers of the franchise, that did not impede the enthusiasm about this opportunity.

Avengers: Endgame was Steve’s last MCU appearance when he got a heartwarming ending that was unique. He personally chose Sam Wilson to be the next Captain America before he got his happily ever after with Peggy Carter, though.

In the upcoming Disney+ film, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, where Sam teams up for a new adventure with Steve’s best friend, Bucky Barnes, this is supposed to be a significant narrative point.

The aforementioned series is one of the most likely ventures for him to star in, with reports that Evans will make his way back to the MCU. Given this, a poster of Falcon and the Winter Soldier featuring old Steve Rogers is imagined by digital creator ultraraw26.

Meanwhile, Sam wields the Captain America shield officially and wears a suit based on a costume seen for the series in tie-in merchandise.

Since details of Evans’ alleged MCU return are still unclear, it is difficult to gauge what role he will play in Phase 4, but it makes the most sense to bring him back as old Steve Rogers, as suggested in the aforementioned fan-art.

There is no lack of young and active heroes in the franchise at this stage, and having the character a mentor-type figure is a safer route for him, instead of being among them. Although Sam and even Bucky will be his most obvious mentees, as the group rebuilds itself after Endgame, Steve will generally be the moral compass for the new Avengers group.

However, if he appears in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Marvel Studios must be careful not to compromise what was meant to be Sam’s journey as a hero. The best way to go here is to only use him sparingly and wisely enough to keep viewers entertained, but not to the point that the series itself is overshadowed.
